New Amnesia fan shrine
Sup, it’s been a while. Just popping back in to let you know I’ve created an oldschool, early 2000s style website (it has iframes and a sidebar!!) on Neocities for my Amnesia/FG shenanigans, called Aura Tenebras.
This is basically just intended as an archive for my old art, comics, meta, and other random nonsense related to Amnesia, seeing as social medias are very unreliable, especially nowadays. I wanted to make sure my stuff’s archived somewhere I can sort of maintain myself in case any other social platforms *coughcoughTwitter* start dying. :’)
Note: the site’s not optimised for mobile and probably never will be.
(this doesn’t mean I’m planning to become active in the fandom again, but if I ever do, I’m more likely to post on my Neocities site than on this Tumblr account, kthanxbye)
Hi, this is Aura. I’m not very active on this blog anymore, but you can catch me in these places if you want to see my other works or just know I’m still alive :D
- Twitter: itsAuraboo
- Pillowfort: auraboo
- Main Tumblr: auraboo
Just a quick update to anyone still using or following me on deviantART.
I’m deactivating my dA account in the coming days, as soon as staff have processed my group deletion request - I was managing a couple of fangroups, one of which I’m the creator of, and dA does this dumb thing where if the group creator deletes their account it doesn’t delete any of their group, it just makes them ownerless and no one can ever take over and continue managing them, so I figured closing down the group was the better option. This also means that the group Amnesia-dark-descent, which was the only actively modded Amnesia group on dA left and which I was co-modding, won’t have anyone managing it anymore. I’ve switched the group to accept members and submissions automatically, but it’s essentially dead unless the other mod returns one day (I’ve already left the group so I can’t promote new mods). I doubt there’s many dA users following this blog, but just thought I’d mention it in case anyone notices and wonders what happened. :’)
to my fellow content creators and their supporters…
nobodynocrime:
⊹・ starting from december 21, tumblr is expanding its list of banned tags on its ios apps to comply with app store’s (new?) guidelines.
⊹・no official list has been released detailing all the tags that have been banned. however, @bannedtags has compiled a list of known banned tags, which is linked at the bottom of this post.
⊹・sadly in the mix are tags such as #mine, #my stuff, and #*mine, all which are commonly used among the editing community, as well as some tracking tags such as #bbelcher.
⊹・for content creators who use such tags, this means that their posts (and any reblogs of such posts) will be unavailable to be viewed on the ios apps from anyone’s dashboards.
⊹・however, the posts are still viewable if you go to one’s blog directly or if post notifications for a certain blog is turned on.
⊹・if you are a content creator using one of these newly banned tags, rather than using mass post editor to delete & add tags, tag replacer is a far easier tool to use.
⊹・a popular tag used in the editing community that has not been affected (yet) is #*, which you may consider using instead.

Trapped, 2021
A little bit of Daniel for this special time of the year. Happy Halloween!
Unpöpülär opinion but tbh? This blog is pretty dead anyway and it’s been a shit year in every way that matters so I don’t really care if this rubs some folks the wrong way at this point, but Amnesia Rebirth was a pretty solid game and deserved a better response than it got from the fandom. I liked it for the most part, really digged the story and the lore, especially the revelations about Alexander. The game had its flaws and could have used some content warnings, certainly, but it was not a bad game.
